Sapiency = Animals?
Sapiency = Animals?
So are sapients still considered animals? I think so, but I like others thoughts, or actual clarity from the creators of the game. Thank you.
Re: Sapiency = Animals?
Do you refer to Beastmen or to Sapients in general? Biologically, the human being is an animal, a mammal. Morally and philosophically, we claim a higher state of being than other animals.
Beastmen in Victoriana are not any more animals than other Sapients are. They are, as 3rd edition makes rather clear, I think, part of the human species and procreate with any other form of human beings.
So, a Ratman is part of the species Homo sapiens, not part of the rat species.
