Garrett, for future reference (and not to gripe), is there a way you can shrink the box in the lower-left corner a bit so it doesn't obscure your window as much? Maybe it can become a banner or semi-transparent?

So, when planning the company's route to Zirakinbar, did anyone suggest cutting through the Northern Dalelands to significantly shorten the time of their journey? If the companions are riding ponies, they could reach Strandburg in a single day, and reach the border of the Waste in another half of a day. Then it's only another 20 miles to the Withered Heath and the foothills of Zirakinbar! Even on foot, it represents three days of easy travel and a place to rest safely and comfortably for a night. It's a quicker, more sensible route that isn't even considered in the original adventure.

The (SPOILER: Highlight to read) encounter with Witherfinger can take place in the Waste north of the Dalelands.
"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. They are older than he."
