Interesting. I do question bringing in Melkor in the form of a lich (or the wisdom in making him an Adversary at all; maybe Melkor shouldn't even be statted). And I wonder if the Cold-drake (?) and Balrog were used to their best effect.steerpike65 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 5:53 pmInteresting feedback from a homebrew AiME campaign: https://plus.google.com/110302093528696 ... Interesting, using 5e statblocks like Lich and Adult White Dragon.steerpike65 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 5:53 pmInteresting feedback from a homebrew AiME campaign: https://plus.google.com/110302093528696 ... Lie7u2YhNB
I agree with OS. I would never stat out Melkor. You could plausibly saw this was a much weaker Melkor returned from the void, but I just question the value in that being the endgame of a campaign anyway.
I prefer the "lower stakes" we typically get in AiME, where our players are fighting to save normal people and not the world as a whole.
Also I wonder if Journey's were used at all.
