Weaponmaster: Duelling

Post by Net1 » Sun Jan 21, 2018 4:14 pm

After reading about the Weaponmaster's Style Focus related to the Duelling Fighting Style, I wonder if you have to choose between the +2 bonus to damage or the +2 bonus to attack before rolling the dice, or if you can decide after rolling the dice.

What do you guys think?

My first instinct is that you should choose when you first declare your attack, but I don't know that others would agree.

That is how I do it, but if they chose the extra damage and then missed the attack by 1, I would let them change it once (maybe twice if the dice gods were really hating them) per combat.

Another LM in the camp that they have to declare before they roll.

Except I'm not as nice as MrUkpyr, I don't let them change. :ugeek:
