Adventures of the...Others?

Hiyas fellow monks

Would you think it too difficult to adapt The Adventures of the Kai to Heroes from other backgrounds?

Thanks!

The first and third adventures could be adapted for other character classes fairly easily, I think, although the characters would need to be trusted within Sommerlund.
The second adventure involves being sent on a mission by the Sommerlund military, so there would need to be a good reason that they were picked. Obviously if they themselves are Sommerlending, or from a close ally like Durenor, that would make sense. Others might fit, if you can think of a good reason ("The wastelands are a harsh environment. Fortunately a Telchoi Amazon has recently arrived in Ragadorn, we have hired her for her remarkable survival skills.").

I think any of the Kai adventures work with other roles, as long as there is at least one Kai Lord in the party.

I have a "there have to be two Kai in a party"-rule in my games and that works very well. To me, the Kai are the center of the game, so we build a group (of 2-4 other characters) around them.

Always two, no more, no less? A master and an apprentice?
