Battlewheel

I made this for the Mongoose version, but it seems equally applicable for the Cubicle 7 version.

This is a battlewheel. Essentially, its used for recording the Order of Battle and Engagements abstractly. You can print this off in A3 and get it laminated.

Each PC has a segment of the wheel and is placed on the "Start" location. I place all the opponents in a pile in the centre to start.

If the PC uses ranged combat or is attacked by ranged combat, the PC is moved into the outer ring and their opponents in the inner ring. A PC can be moved to another PC's segment if they are firing into an engagement.

The PC is moved to the inner ring for close combat engagements, with their opponents in the inner ring with them.

Very interesting!

As an abstraction somewhere between descriptive combat and full miniatures, this looks like it would work quite well.

Nice job!

Thanks. That middle ground was the intent, keeping track of Order of Battle, Engagements and number of foes in a visual way.
