Instead of rolling up CS, End and WP, here is my take on a point buy system. You have 6 character Points to create your character. You may spend these on Attributes and your Special Bonus:
Attributes
Low attribute (1 CP)
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (0)
2-4 (1)
5-7 (2)
8-9 (3)
Medium attribute (2 CP)
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (3)
2-4 (4)
5-7 (5)
8-9 (6)
High attribute (3 CP)
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (6)
2-4 (7)
5-7 (8)
8-9 (9)
* Add this value to your role or archetypes starting attribute.
Special Bonus (1 CP)
You start with 1 in your Special Bonus and may purchase addition points for 1 CP each.
For example a hero Kai Lord decides to invest 3 CP into CS, 2 CP into EP, and 1 CP into WP. He starts with CS 19, EP 23, WP 11 and Kais Favour of 1. Another character decides to invest 1 CP into CS, 1 CP into EP, 2 CP into WP and 2 CP into Special Bonus. He starts with CS 11, EP 23, WP 18 and Kai's Favour of 3

Re: Simple Character creation point buy system
For a simpler system, when creating your character, instead of rolling randomly for each with a d10 (or a random number), you may assign one low attribute, one medium attribute and one high attribute, rolling as below:
Low Attribute
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (0)
2-4 (1)
5-7 (2)
8-9 (3)
Medium Attribute
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (3)
2-4 (4)
5-7 (5)
8-9 (6)
High Attribute
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (6)
2-4 (7)
5-7 (8)
8-9 (9)
Low Attribute
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (0)
2-4 (1)
5-7 (2)
8-9 (3)
Medium Attribute
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (3)
2-4 (4)
5-7 (5)
8-9 (6)
High Attribute
d10 (Value*)
0-1 (6)
2-4 (7)
5-7 (8)
8-9 (9)
