Miniatures

an alternate history pulpy retro-sci-fi space opera planetary romance. It's throttled up rocket packs burning radium on the long blast to the farthest reaches of the Solar System. It's hunting thunder lizards in the upland jungles of Venus. It's battling Ancient Martian killing machines piloted by the Deutsche Marserkorps across the baking red deserts of Mars. Do any of you use minis in your games for the characters or the ships? I have found Hydra Minis but wondered what others folks are using if any?

I've been planning to draw up a collection of cardboard minis.

A set of cardboard characters, npcs and creatures like Pathfinder Pawns is a great idea cheap and easy to store!

Yeah, I'm still only part way thru the process tho.

Honestly I think I'll probably keep on using Theater of the Mind, but I like the idea of having minis as an option.

In trolling about the internet I stumbled upon the Retro Raygun line from Hydra Miniatures. They seem like they'd be perfect for Rocket Age. The Galacteers especially would make for great Rocket Rangers.

If you're looking for paper minis, try Okumarts Retro Space line:
