Got my copy today, pity it's B&W since it's not as pretty as the core book now, bit tricky to read in places too but still, glad it's turned up now.

Normally I'd be jealous of all you who actually have a hard copy of the book, but to be honest I'm just glad that the long wait is finally over and that my copy should arrive at my FLGS soon (easier to have them deal with any importing). Hopefully by the end of the month I should finally have a real copy in my hands that I can take with me anywhere.

Now if only we can get some information on Propellers in the Dawn. ;) ;) ;)

My copy arrived today and its awesome to finally have the book in my hands. I agree that the background on the pages makes it harder to read in b&w. Can I suggest that Cakebread and Walton make the background on pages lighter for Propellers in the Dawn and future books to try and avoid this in the future.

2nd that, and I would also like to suggest that it be sent to an editor before printing. There must be typos on almost every page of Under the Lamplight, sometimes more than one. Still, I'm glad to finally have the book, I find the info to be very useful.

Typos on every page sounds very odd,
(and I'm certainly not finding that to be the case).
It is in English spelling which may be what you find odd.

Can you note a few as we did both proof and edit the book,
and I'd certainly like to know what we missed.

I believe I said typos on nearly every page, however, looking through the book a second time in bright light, and keeping in mind English spelling, I see that I was mistaken and that there are not nearly as many mistakes as I had originally thought. I am sorry about that, my apologies. Still, this afternoon I spent about 45 min. casually reading here and there and found 9 mistakes. A far cry from "nearly every other page" I know but still it is quite a few. They can be found on pages 18, 19, 30, 31, 36, 73, 88 (Two. One is a missing page number, not really a typo I suppose.), and 92. Alas, I don't have the pdf or I would cut and paste for you. Hope that helps.

Phew, that's a relief its not quite so bad.
(I was wondering if there had been a huge printer disaster)
glad to see they are all quite minor mistakes.

Thanks for pointing those out. We'll see if we can correct them in further printings.

Is it possible to buy Underneath the Lamplight anywhere?

The C7 shop lists it as not in stock.

It is possible we have run out though!

Finally have a hard copy of the book in my hands. This should make it a little easier to find information as I don't have to scroll through the PDF while trying to work on characters or adventures.

Now let's hope that Propellers in the Dawn is finished soon. Seems like the sourcebooks that were supposedly going to come out the same year as the core book are instead being released one a year. As long as the quality of the material remains as high as the first two books, I am willing to wait... albeit rather impatiently.
