Adventure!

Post by Grimwyrd » Fri Jul 12, 2013 5:17 am

Hey all,

I'm looking to prepare to GM Airship Pirates sometime in the future and am starting to get the material ready. I have Ruined Empires but need some more stuff to work with. My big problem is that I don't really have enough time to make multiple adventures from scratch, so what I usually do when I have a game that doesn't have a whole lot of preprepared adventure material is find a similar game and use its adventures, with a little tweakage this usually works pretty well. I guess what I'm asking is; does anyone know of any premade adventures I could use with Airship Pirates?

You might want to check out some of the Victoriana adventures.
As the system is the same they should convert rules wise.
Not as many airships but at least many of the steampunk elements are there.
If you set them on a Skyloft city they should adapt well.

Marylebone Mummy and Havering Adventures are the adventure supplements.
But Streets of Shadow which collates the old first edition material is also due.
there are also a few adventure ideas in the other books.

I'd have a look at Firefly adventures for Serenity. Whilst they are not necessarily the same, they both involve a crew of a ship involved in semi legal activities at best with plot twists and betrayals. If you think of Skylofts instead of planets then you may be part there.

Your right gavken the Serenity adventures appear to be a good fit. Much appreciated.
