New One Ring book falling apart.

Post by irashaine1972 » Sat Dec 13, 2014 4:23 am

I have owned the new revised One Ring book for exactly 5 days and the binding has fallen apart. Its very disappointing. I think I have only read to about page 80. There is no way it will survive play as its falling apart just from casual reading. Am I the only one with this happening?

That's the first report we've had of that happening, but drop Nick a line at info AT cubicle7.co.uk and he'll sort you out.

This is very strange. We haven't seen any other Revised Core Rules with spine problems, and you've had two in a row.

Hopefully you're in touch with Nick?

Hi Jon,

I decided to register because of this discussion, just to let you know that, actually, I had the bad luck of getting other two copies of the Revised Edition, both with spine problems.
The second was a replacement of the first, which I bought from Amazon (I know, I know, I'll never do that error again). I sent back to them the first faulty copy, just to get a faulty replacement too, which I was forced to keep, 'cause of the foolish postage expenses from Italy to the US .(Amazon kindly NOT covering all the expenses I had: I let them know what I think of their costumer service!)

Having finally seen the light, last month I ordered a copy from C7, which I'm still waiting now, as I understand that it's out of stock.

Thanks for letting us know - we'll keep a close eye on the issue for any further reports.

If you are reading this and have a faulty spine please email info@cubicle7.co.uk direct. If you can include a photo of any faults that greatly helps us track down any issue.
