Terror on the Thames - Cabin 1(spoilers)

Post by DadsAngry » Sat Sep 05, 2015 1:31 pm

In cabin 1 we find 'Big T' Laine hanging himself. A combined STR of 30 is required to hold him up while the other attempt to cut him down. STR 30 are you sure about that number? In 1-6 edition terms that a person with a STR of 6. 'Big T' is SIZ 90.

Also there is a minor typo in 'Big T' Laine skill listing. An open parentheses should be a closed parentheses after the word Trombone.

I'm going to guess that the number should be 150 and probably wasn't converted from 6 to 7e.

I just reread the rules for carrying a body in 7e rulebook. Lifting a body is based off the size of the person one is lifting. So the STR required is a combined 90. Meaning two people with a min of 45 can lift 'Big T' Laine without needed to make a roll. If 'Big T' Laine size was more than 90 than a skill roll would be needed as it falls past the Physical Human Limit.

I believe you are correct in that this adventure missed converting some mechanics to 7e. This is not the only discrepancy I noticed.
