Nice artwork and very much looking forward to the releases of two 400-page tomes: one for the core rules and one for the enhanced enemy within campaign. Who's with me?... ;)

I also like this image. It lightly threatens the viewer with getting lost, with ruin, and with chaos, despite the attempts to construct order, apparent wealth and sense of arrival. It has hints of high fantasy. My one slight concern is that it is very mediaeval rather than renaissance, is it not?

Looks very Tudor to me and that was the 1500s, so early to mid-renaissance at the earliest.

I think that's right, the architecture is better described as Tudor than it is Mediaeval. I'm happier with the idea of a predominance of Tudor buildings in a WFRP renaissance setting. For some reason i couldn't seem to bring to mind what transitioned between Mediaeval and Renaissance.

Not knowing if news was on the way was way more relaxing than knowing that news might arrive any minute.
