Re: Cubicle 7 Forum Closing

In case none of you have noticed Pelgrane took their forums down back in February. no reason given that I could find but GDPR seems as good a reason as any. They are another small company of similar size to C7 and no doubt are in a similar position regarding huge data protection fines for incorrectl...

Re: Cubicle 7 Forum Closing

Butterfingers, C7 outsource their webstore and can presumably piggyback on the providers GDPR compliance. The forums may not be outsourced and the GDPR compliance will require at least one employee to maintain and provide that compliance and they will not contribute a penny to C7's bottom line. If t...

Re: Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition – System Preview

You all know that this sort of announcement schedule is exactly how Games Workshop usually do their announcements and is very much opposed to the way C7 make their announcements for their other games. I very much suspect that the slow release of information is controlled by Games Workshop rather tha...

Re: WFRP Forum

Might be a similar case to the one for the Doctor Who game i.e. one hosted elsewhere sand that's based on my reading of Jon's post as it seems to indicate that C7 are not in full control of the situation (GW may have written things like this into the contract).

Re: Maps

As a a quick aside while I was at Chimeriades (a French gaming con) over last weekend the Chaosium guys said exactly the same thing. Rolled maps are hard to ship and they would not be supplying any maps that way in future. You best bet is to take the pdfs to a copy shop and have them printed and lam...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

For books to be available at Expo in June or even at the Warhammer thingie next month they would have to have gone to press about three months back regardless of where they are being printed. Note that the most recent One Ring adventure supplement went up for preorder Nov 1st 2017 and arrived here M...

Re: How to insert a picture as an attachment

Thank goodness that isn't easy or the spammers would overrun the place even worse than they do already. It's a struggle keeping the forums mostly free of spam. There are several people doing the work and I, at least. visit three or four times a day to delete spam messages for bogus pharmaceuticals.

Re: Moria

If you followed Gar Hanrahan on Twitter you'd know he's still writing Moria so GenCon might be tight for physical copies.

In light of that I don't expect to see anything - previews, art etc., for several months.
