Re: Advancing Fellowship Focus rules

I'd personally go with something a little simpler to the proposals that have been made so far and that just addresses refreshing the FP rather then personal Hope pools: Get rid of the FP refreshing at the end of each session and instead go with allowing the player interactions with their FF to refre...

Just to clarify, even if I choose black edging, I PAINT it black... so it's not like I save any time over some other color.
Yep, me too. Cleans up the marks, paint spills, etc.

Re: Miniatures for TOR

I like those guards RIch, both look good. I must say I think the LoTR films got many things right in the esthetic department, even with plate mail and all... Thanks. The films were okay for me in that regard too; can totally see why they presenting the soldiers of Gondor in such a way so as to real...

Re: Oaths of the Riddermark - pre-order now!

Very happy to get hold of this!

Could I run a mini-campaign of Rohirrim PCs while I wait for Laughter of Dragons?

Re: Campaign Idea Assistance

Thanks for posting that, Curulon. This is happening quite a lot (people copy/pasting an older post). I think it's a clever way of spammers to make it look like they are real posters and to then post spam related content at a later date. I've therefore reported the OP. Happy to help! I thought it lo...

Re: Moria

There I halted for a long while. It was almost a year later when I went on and so came to Lothlorien and the Great River late in 1941. Gareth's post hints at a Lothlórien supplement for next year. ;) Actually, if you parse it, it suggests that the Lothlorien supplement was written in 1941 by Tolkie...

Re: Beorn and Viglund

Thank you for your suggestions, Rich. I get your idea, but I don't want to take away Viglund's agency and make him the victim of someone else's manipulation: in my mind, it's pretty important for Viglund to be responsible of his own actions. Why? Because in my campaign Viglund is the embodiment of ...

Re: Shadow for killing innocuous orcs

It has occurred to me that a mechanic that might reflect this distinction would be one in which higher permanent shadow effectively inoculates you against certain types of shadow gain. Or, at least, reduces the chances of getting shadow (which really is what most inoculations do anyway...they reduc...

Re: Miniatures for TOR

Serious question here... What colour do you all prefer the rim of the bases to be painted? I used to paint them black but now do them brown. I'm not sure which I prefer the most but want to be consistent. I'm sorta leaning towards brown (which would mean me repainting lots of bases so they all match...
