Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

So, let me get this straight....they are doing 2 RPG lines for Warhammer with 2 totally different rules sets??? This is a tad confusing. I am a Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay fan but am not totally knowledgeable on the lore to a tremendous degree. Is the other main difference in setting in that one is ...

Re: Beorning Thane Title

If you're very strong, you might try to solve your problems with strength. And you might make a mistake, and someone who didn't deserve it got hurt. That might make you cautious of using your strength again.

Re: Beorning Thane Title

Yeah, there's a lot of trouble that the Beornings can get into with the Viglundings. There are also neutral folks around the area that Beorn might be interested in having the hero talk to first. There are also hints that the Beornings and the Elves of Mirkwood sometimes step on each other's toes. Th...

Re: Herbalism Kit?

Herb-lore is a Speciality, granted by a couple of different Backgrounds. Specialities can be used to earn Inspiration, allow an automatic success for routine things, and grant you a Proficiency Bonus or Advantage when you need to make an attribute check involving the Speciality.

Lord have mercy, for I started a discussion about plate armor in Middle earth.
Shields shall be splintered and armour (of some indeterminate type) shall be dented.

Re: Legendary ME Weapons

Note that each improvement by visiting the Market-pool can be selected only twice, and an upgrade can be for to-hit OR damage. So a weapon obtained there could be +1/+1, +2/+0, or +0/+2 after both upgrades.

I'm not certain that the smiths of Lake-town can improve upon the working of the Dwarves.

Re: A Gondor book?

Thorin and companions are said to have shining armour, but its exact form is not given. The Southron wears a 'corselet of overlapping brazen plates'. Imrahil and his knights are wearing 'full harness' as already alluded to, and bearing 'gilded banners'. — • — I would not say that there is definitive...
