Another said she couldn't hack the misery and the travelling.
Help me understand the misery component. I think of Middle-earth as a place of hope and heroism... things are sometimes grim but the Player-heroes are the ones standing against the coming of the night, not those afeared by it.

Re: Audiences without the Cultural Attitudes

Hmmm. Nazgûl Fëanor Théoden. (Tries some others that don’t work). Hmmm. Seems legit. Favorite Color Honor. I guess I don’t spell enough words in proper English on my phone. —•— On the subject of distinguishing between different speakers when they’re all the same Cultural group, remember that the cor...

Re: gaining shadow points and player's actions

Wow, what an interesting and complex set of questions/considerations! Regarding Shadow from Blighted Places versus Shadow from Misdeeds, you might compare it to radiation poisoning. Blighted Places and Anguish produce background radiation... it’s not the players’ fault but they still have to deal wi...

Despite being a Woodman, he looks favorably upon Dwarves and the Audience can be boosted quite a bit by having a Dwarf speak up. The Cultural Attitudes table is a baseline for the...

Re: Moria

What about a witch-nose? (You'd perhaps (not) be amazed by the amount of hatemail I got for giving a Great Orc a witch-nose...) Sometimes I yearn for a time with less mail, less social networks, and less customer entitlement  I think, and I have little evidence unfortunately, that it'...

Mr McDowall is a completely unknown entity to me.
Well, as might be relevant to your latest post, in addition to being the CEO of Cubicle 7, Dom is also extensively credited for Adventures in Middle-earth as well as a host of other well-deserved accolades.
