New Dice-pool System

Here is an attempt to create a new system from the rpg, based on a d6 dice pool. It is based on the Tales from the Loop/Mutant zero rigs. System When attempting a task, roll a number of 6 sided dice equal to your attribute and skill, plus any relevant traits. Attributes Strength represents your char...

Lone Wolf Percentile System

This is a system using percentiles rather than a d10. Characters are defined by 3 attributes, each starting with a value of 3d10 plus 30, modified by a players archetype or role: Combat Skill represents a characters skill with weapons, agility and reflexes. Can be reduced through injury. Endurance r...

Freeform Character Advancement

Here is an alternative to the standard character advancement. After completing an adventure, each player may choose one of the following Advancements: Rank 5: +1 ENDURANCE, 1 Advanced Discipline, New Trait, New Discipline Rank 6: +1 COMBAT SKILL, 1 Advanced Discipline, New Skill, New Discipline Rank...

Re: Simple Character creation point buy system

For a simpler system, when creating your character, instead of rolling randomly for each with a d10 (or a random number), you may assign one low attribute, one medium attribute and one high attribute, rolling as below: Low Attribute d10 (Value*) 0-1 (0) 2-4 (1) 5-7 (2) 8-9 (3) Medium Attribute d10 (...

Simple Character creation point buy system

Instead of rolling up CS, End and WP, here is my take on a point buy system. You have 6 character Points to create your character. You may spend these on Attributes and your Special Bonus: Attributes Low attribute (1 CP) d10 (Value*) 0-1 (0) 2-4 (1) 5-7 (2) 8-9 (3) Medium attribute (2 CP) d10 (Value...

Multiple Dice idea

I am a huge fan of dice pool systems so here is an idea of bringing that to lone Wolf. For skill tests, instead of Bonuses, roll a number of d10s equal to your bonus from your characteristic, skill and/or traits. Then the Narrator modifiers the number of dice based on the difficulty: Simple +2 Easy ...

Re: How is the game in play?

I ran a one off game last year comprising of 2 noodnics, a kai lord, a merchant, a thief, a herb warden and a knight of the white mountain. Everyone got to shine, and rather surprisingy, the plucky noodnic struck the killing blow on the bad guy. All of the classes worked very well together. I hunt r...

Re: Combat dice?

I am not sure if this is worth doing. Part of the beauty and simplicity of LWAG combat is taking the players rolls and describing the result in a narrative fashion. The gm doesn't roll so really all they have to do is interpret the dice result so using the table is effortless, and to be honest gives...

Using 5 Characteristics.

I am thinking of moving to 5 Characteristics, to offer more flexibility in character generation: STRENGTH reflects a character's strength, athleticism and raw fighting ability. DEXTERITY reflects a character's dexterity, agility and speed, and skill with light weapons. ENDURANCE reflects a character...

Re: Any further Roles you want to see?

Remember that Bad guys can have Roles as well. And whats wrong with someone playing a reformed Cener Druid? Also some gms may want to run a bad guy campaign so i think there are numerous reasons why they should be published.
