Re: Bree Scenarios - SPOILERS

Well, it is the epilogue. :) I kept the siege of Gorlanc's fortress "off-screen" for several reasons - Bree-tales work best, in my estimation, if Bree is this island of mundanity on a sea of darkness, and having Bree-folk actually journeying into the wild to overthrow a sorcerer would clash with tha...

I would use the mechanics already in play.
Seconded. I'd be really hesitant to add new mechanics when you can just treat them as Battle dice and resolve everything through description.

On the topic of GenCon, I'll be at the Pelgrane booth (1317) most of the con. Always happy to talk TOR and enthuse about Tolkien.

Nah. The _actual_ slayer is just off page to the right, throwing wolves at people. Hence the airborne wolf in the middle.

Re: Query: Long-term imprisonment and torture

I'd let each player describe how they're resisting the torments of the Orcs and helping each other endure. For example, the tough Beorning might choose to roll Inspire (I don't give in!), the Elf uses Song (I sing of how Maedhros was freed from the peak of Thangorodrim), the Lake-Men rolls Persuade ...

Tillinghast Go!

As CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN approaches, the dimensional barriers grow thin. The first horrors from beyond to slip across are minor Exonomes, lesser spirits. Most are relatively harmless; if they try to possess a human host, they're more likely to get chewed up and shredded, although they can sometimes g...

Re: Moving Tales From Wilderland (Spoilers)

For the Crossings of Celduin, I'd suggest moving the festival and the poisoning to Beorn's house, and then move the battle of the Crossing to the Old Ford - use the material in Kinstrife and Bad Tidings as a guide. The Watch on the Heath can be used largely as is. Alternatively, you could have the G...

Re: Newbie keeper seeks advice on HR intake interviews

How familiar are your players with the Laundry setting? I'd be tempted to run a couple of scenes where most of the players take on the roles of a Laundry review board, and get to ask awkward questions and run weird tests on the unlucky remaining PC.
