Re: Eafolc as playable culture

If I might suggest... Mindful of Danger - You have proficiency in Perception, and have a DC-15 Perception roll to avoid being caught flat-footed. Born on water - you have proficiency with water vehicles, and with Athletics (Swimming). Thanks for the proposal ; i like it :) being caught flat-footed ...

Re: Eafolc as playable culture

very nice, thank you Otaku-Sempai. In fact i was looking for the eafolc stats, because i built "Rivermen of the Northern Eriador" stats (the folk described in MERP "rangers of the north, kingdom of arthedain" to play in TA 1640. Here is my attempt : Rivermen of Northern Eriador (=Sîredain) , from ri...

Eafolc as playable culture

I read accross the excellent Rhovanion region guide and I like a lot the entries about eafolc. But I am surprised and disappointed there is no possibility to have this culture as a playable one (like the wild Hobbits). Although there are several mentions of this Culture in the guide. Are there the c...

Re: Wanderer aptitude and Long Rest

it helps a lot ! Thanks Gilrohir and Anarfin. As it is my first time as a AiME LM, i did not perceive the facts you both listed. And moreover, I like a lot the proposal of Gilrohir : I also insist that each wanderer actually discusses with me and agrees in advance WHERE his known long rest locations...

Re: We need to talk about the Slayer

Dexterity bonus to AC while in Heavy Armor is something I like less. I think your way of limiting it is a good one. I'll try it in my game if our slayer seems to be taking too much spotlight time in battle. Here is another thought I had. How would it work if while in a Battle-Fury a Slayer can not ...

Re: Wanderer aptitude and Long Rest

for me, the benefits given by the wanderer's aptitude interfere with the Journey phase and the Long Rest (for me it must, in theory, last for 1 week, except for specific conditions, like beorn's house or the prancing pony). the problem is that if i cancel this aptitude for the wanderer, how could i ...

Re: We need to talk about the Slayer

i may be wrong, but the foe-hammer has been designed for dwarves, that is why this archetype gets proficiency with heavy armours, all shields and the aptitude Hooped and Clasped. but (we already discussed it elsewhere) it doesn't suit well with other cultures like beornings for instance. I have a pl...

Wanderer aptitude and Long Rest

Hi everyone I will start my 1st AiME adventure as a LM and I am a bit confused with the Journey Phase and the Wanderer aptitude. If I am right, usually they is no possibility of Long Rest during the Journey Phase (and it is a very good rule, IMO). But the aptitude of the wanderer "known lands" tells...
