Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Allow me to rephrase my question, do you lovely folks foresee it being possible to play a White Lion, a Bright Wizard, a Dwarven Slayer, and the other classic archetypes and unique staples of the Warhammer Fantasy Old World (even if you dont necessarily begin the game as them)? Were these available...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Although I am decently familiar with the Old World, I have never played Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, but I am definitely intrigued to check it out. I do have a question though, I love the Old World as a setting, its evocative and just hits the nail on the head (more than floating dimensional space r...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I really hope that they are using some rules from Zweihänder, especially the career system. Makes much more sense. There are only three careers, basic, intermediate and advanced tier and you choose the next two careers above basic by what is story wise and not what the exits want you to do. Always ...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

-The problem is that [immobile full attacks]combat gets static and therefore less fun and exciting. not to step on any toes, but that honestly sounds like poor work on the game master's part (or alternatively, some incredibly stubborn players). you should run a battle giving the group a reason to n...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Since we still have next to zero news despite the year having only three months left (and realistically sales should start in the last week of November to not miss the holiday season)... ...let me reiterate how much I wish WFRP4 to not just be WFRP2 with a new paint-job, but a new edition of its own...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I seriously hope the WFRP4 rules aren't closely based on the WFRP2 rules. That edition was inspired by how D&D 3 (d20) handled actions, and particularly how it asked a player to choose between moving and delivering a full action attack (swift attack in WFRP2 parlance). In simple terms: both games as...

Re: Translated Game Lines

How feasible is it that 7eme Circle will start selling English PDFs through DriveThruRPG again? Do they have ownership of the previously-used translations/artworks/layouts, or do they have to generate all that themselves to return this product to the Anglosphere? I would buy PDFs of the whole line ...

Re: This forum to be archived 1st August

Hello, Just want to bring up a possible detail - when you say "archived", do you really mean "deleted"? Archiving most commonly means "making read-only" so the content is still accessible but can't be modified (no new discussions can be created, no new posts can be made). It appears as if you do not...

In a nutshell, people getting upset about the dice system in this game is a little late at this point.
In a nutshell, people are making their opinions heard as soon as they had the chance.
