Re: Cubicle 7 Forum Closing

I'd be willing to help out in whatever way I can. There are several good options for free forum hosting sites. Unfortunately they do not allow data transfers but do offer incentives such as free custom domain names and ad free forums if you transfer your forum to their service. Proboards and Forumot...

Some of us have been visiting the forums here daily for years. There is a huge amount of useful insight and information t...

Just a thought. I am not skilled enough to do such a thing, but would be willing to co...

Re: Using the LW Gamebooks as a starter adventure

I think what you are describing could work well. I'm not experienced enough at running the LWAG to give you much insight. Regarding multiple enemies though, what not use the rules for fighting groups of enemies and increase the number of enemies in the group so that it is challenging enough for a gr...

Re: What does the "common folk" know?

What you say might be far less true of most Silvan Elves compared to the rest of the Eldar, especially if many of the Silvan Elves are Avari and never took part in the Great Journey to Valinor (instead, coming to Rhovanion some unspecified number of years later). Wood-elves thousands of years old m...

Re: What does the "common folk" know?

I would add that the elves probably have a much greater knowledge of the history of Middle-earth by virtue of their immortality. So elvish characters would know more or have a more accurate version of history than non-elvish culture. High elves would probably know more than the elves of Mirkwood. Ch...
