Re: Translated Game Lines

As a fan of both Keltia and Yggdrassil, I'm sad to see these lines go, though I hope you'll have more capacity to work on your own titles from now on. Now, please give us some WFRP love! :) In the same boat ...I love the Yggdrasil setting :) but since that ships has now sailed. Lets get the WFRP tr...

Re: Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4e

Greetings! Just hopping in to express my gratitude to Cubicle 7 for acquiring the WFRP licence. The One Ring is probably the most beautifully written (and illustrated!) RPG book I've ever seen, and I can't wait for my beloved Old World setting to receive the C7 treatment. Personally, I'm hoping for...

Traits

First off .. new to The One Ring, so still getting a grasp of the rules. So I have a question about traits ... As I understand it the players end up with 5. The players can invoke them to automatically pass the test. Some of these traits are quite broad and can apply to alot of things, does it cost ...

Re: combat round sequence

So, my conclusion and understanding: 1. On your turn, you can pass if you don't want to perform an action. 2. If several NPCs attack you in the same combat round, you can parry or dodge as many actions you want as long as it's not more than AGI + 1, and doesn't matter if your friendly players have ...

Re: combat round sequence

I can tell you what we do :) We give each play a chip/marker equal to AGI+1(number of actions). The we take the turns in order of initiativ, and each player/NPC gets one offensive action per initiativ pass(if they want to, and have chips left). If they parry ect. they pay a chip/marker. So yes if so...

Re: Stats and chance of success :/

If this math truly is free of errors, I'm going to have to salt my players' wounds. In my last few sessions my two players (a Berserker and a Volva) accompanied by a few Extras have had a difficult time dealing with Outlaw Extras (a modified version of the Pirate). And the Berserker, who has a Stre...
