Re: Realm of Sommerlund news?

From the last KS update, the PDF of the book should be available to backers some time in August... So possibly not that long to go. No update on physical copies or wider distribution though.

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I'm guessing with the photos of promo stuff at GenCon, we'll have to wait until the chaps of C7 return from there to get something more concrete on the website.

Re: Adventure ideas in The Great Sadi Desert

Could be a lost Shianti city buried under the shifting sands, maybe someone wants to go find it.

Re: Who is Salor?

I think Kai and Ishir are the predominant religions, but there are a number of lesser deities that people pay tribute to on a regular basis, maybe without knowing exactly why. I can think of examples like sailors making an offering to the sea before leaving on a voyage, farmers leaving out small amo...

Re: Who is Salor?

There's not a huge amount from what I can see. There are a few (evil) gods mentioned in the Magnamund Menagerie under the Priest entry, but nothing in the Devout Archetype in Heroes of Magnamund. I would imagine with the release of the Realm of Sommerlund we will see mention of some gods worshiped b...

So, not necessarily a lone Kai Lord?

No. As long as we can agree, can be any class. Obviously the more information available on a particular area, the more we can 'bring to life' the world around the character.

EDIT: it would be a single player with a single character.

Re: Solo adventure?

I'd be Narrator for a player, with the character and location of the campaign being discussed before any adventure starts. It would be a play by post, or play by forum game not a live online game. Main reasons for that is it is easier than arranging a set time/day for each session. We would use Mast...

Re: No crossbow in this game version

If you forget the book then the Hobbit trilogy isn't terrible. You weren't bored to tears by the never-ending, over-the-top action sequences? Confused at how Bilbo basically turned into a non-character in the third film? Astonished at the abrupt ending? Now, I didn't say it was good. The Legolas an...

Solo adventure?

I'm thinking of running a solo adventure online via forums.

Would anyone be interested?
