Re: TOR versions of AIME's creature abilities & actions?

The list in AiME is more extensive and contains creature specific abilities designed as add-ons you can use as options. For example, you can give a troll the In the Sack With You ability. I should have mentioned that I also own every TOR book. My question really should have said "Have any fans conve...

TOR versions of AIME's creature abilities & actions?

I really like the creature abilities & actions stuff from the AIME Loremasters Guide (p116-121). Is there a TOR version of these optional creature traits?

Any unofficial online chargen systems out there?

The title says it all, really. I'm talking about stuff like OrcPub and PCGen for AiME. I know you can "fudge" various classes, cultures, backgrounds, etc in those apps, but I'm wondering about something more tailored.

Re: Fatigue rules: too harsh... and one piece of trivia

Fortunately this has nothing to do with early medieval. This all takes place in an alternate, imaginary universe with its own timeline. Exactly. In a middle earth game, I'm personally not interested in combat realism. I'm interested in combat that feels like the scenes from the source material. I a...

Fatigue rules: too harsh... and one piece of trivia

So, I'm flipping through Horse Lords of Rohan and looked over the sample Rohirrim character, Herubrand. His Endurance is 26 and his fatigue is 23 (mail shirt, helm, shield, sword, bow). For all intents and purposes, if he gets hit once in combat, he becomes weary. Encouraging heroes to wear minimal/...

Re: Warhammer Age of Sigmar Roleplaying Game Announced!

Interesting. I'm curious about the choice to use a different system than the one used for WHFRP 4e. I guess no one will be doing a campaign detailing the end of the Old World via the End Times to the beginning of the Age of Sigmar. With all these massive properties to juggle, I hope C7 has enough em...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I'm hoping for the fluff of 1e (less focus on Chaos, a weak Emperor, and reduce the Arthurian stuff for Bretonnia). I'd like to see the infamous "whiff factor" addressed, get rid of the magic colleges and go back to 1e, and get Ian Miller, Russ Nicholson, and John Blanche to do copious amounts of ar...
