Re: Oaths of the Riddermark - pre-order now!

I've just popped in to say that I read the adventures last night and they are really good. Sophisticated and capture the spirit of the Rohirrim, but also exciting and with meaningful choices. Highly recommended!

Re: Advance Temple

Have a look at the "Rich H's TOR Resources" thread about 8 below the one you posted. He has developed a graphics pack with fonts etc. I don't think C7 allow the use of their materials, and you definitely shouldn't use the pictures without permission. You can post adventures etc in the One Ring House...

Re: Our Darkening of Mirkwood Finale

Thanks for the report Marco, which I found very enjoyable. I particularly liked the Hobbit going off to write the definitive guide to cooking Mushrooms - it's details like that which raise TOR above the average  .

Re: Bree is available in PDF

I just want to echo Polishwoodman above and state that this is an excellent supplement. Both the adventures and the gazzetter section are really good. Everyone associated with this can be proud of themselves. Bravo!

Re: [Tale of Years] The Fellowship of the Free (Spoilers)

Thanks Rich - very enjoyable. I particularly liked this line: "I don't pull punches with how I run The One Ring; Wilderland is a frontier place - often grim and unforgiving. Without care, it can be deadly and brutal."

Please do keep on publishing your stories.

Re: Epic Adventure in Eriador

It's hard to know what to suggest because there are thousands of ways that you could develop this story. It's very Arthurian in inspiration, so you could look to the Morte D'Arthur for ideas and underlying themes.

Re: Need help fleshing out an idea for Darkening of Mirkwood

Thanks for the suggestions, gave me a good chunk of things to mull over :) Some kind of magical object might cure it. Perhaps a gem like the Elessar? I have some half baked idea that there was one gem left that didn't get given to the spider. One with sentimental value, like set into a wedding ring...

Re: Need help fleshing out an idea for Darkening of Mirkwood

a) How do the fellowship find out about this curse, Sunshadow is not going to have all the answers.. She only suspects foul play due to the number of similar deaths. I can think of a couple of ways, neither perfect but they might help: i) It's in Tyulquins interest to have the family start giving h...

Re: Epic Adventure in Eriador

Some nice ideas there, folks! Keep them coming, please! Finrod, do you by any chance have a larger version of that map? It looks like a postage stamp! But I'd like to see it. I was toying around with an idea where the characters would somehow experience key moments of past ages. Not time travel, bu...

Re: Epic Adventure in Eriador

Another idea is to head through Eriador into the far north where the Iron Mountains (territory of Morgoth in the 1st Age) still remain. A map of what this area might have looked like in the 3rd Age is here: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20060311091224/lotr/images/9/95/Forodwaith.JPG For an e...
