Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

Now that was rude. lordmalachdrim has been given some time off to consider if he wishes to continue to participate on these forums. We always expect the best of our guests and most of the time, it works out really well. Correspondingly, we don't make an active point of saying "this person is a mod" ...

Re: Ordered on Dec 7th and no books yet

Happy New Year, everyone! Our final Cthulhu / Laundry sell went far beyond what we originally projected. Between end of year holidays and back log, we're doing our best to catch up, but it has been slow going. A number of titles were completely sold out in the UK - if you ordered them, then we will ...

It can be a real hassle finding enough players for a “Human Occupied Landfill” campaign.
I've run HoL. It's GLORIOUS.

My favourite distance mechanic ever. "Not Far Really. Really Not Far."

And I'm familiar with, well, every major RPG system and dozens of indie ones, from obscure to common.

Re: Oaths of the Riddermark - pre-order now!

It looks to me that the final battle might even be too much for a starting fellowship, doesn't it? It really sets the danger threshold very high! Read the Unlikely Allies box on Page 119 carefully. Basically - if the company hasn't made any allies, they are unlikely to all survive through Woes of W...

Re: Mirkwood Campaign?

We should have an official update next week, along with some cover art. In short, it is the AME conversion of the epic, 30 year, Darkening of Mirkwood campaign by Gareth Ryder Hanrahan. 30 years in game , mind you. Most folks tell us it takes between 1 1/2 to 3 years to run it in our world. ;) The ...

I complimented Becket on the amazing end to his campaign over on G+, but mention of Gencon reminded me to say that if any TOR fans are going to the con, stop by and say hi.
I'm a TOR fan and I'm going to the con, John. ;)

And once again I'm concerned that isn't going to answer the question. I hope it is answer-adjacent though, and I'm sorry it needed so much working out to be shown in order to make sense.
Be wary what you ask the designers of TOR & AME for we will say both "no" and "yes".
