Re: PDF Versions of Player's Guide & Loremaster's Guide?

Bad news, I'm afraid. As far as I know, Amazon does not participate in the Bits & Mortar program and does not furnish a complimentary PDF of any Cubicle 7 products. For that, you either needed to find a game store that does participate in B&M or you should have purchased your books directly from the...

Re: Your personal wishlist for TOR books

1. Bree and the Shire 2. Land/People of the East (especially Dorwinion) 3. Gondor Out of the outlier cultures on the fringes of the maps, Dorwinion does seem to me to be the most likely to produce Hero characters. And existing material for TOR already gives us some hints of what a Dorwinion sourceb...

Oh forgot to add: Ruins of Eregion sourcebook!
Like Tharbad, I don't think the Elvish ruins in Eregion are deserving of their own sourcebook; however, they could certainly be addressed in the context of an adventure or three!

Re: Moria

The best information we have so far is what Jon Hodgson posted on December 4. We don't know for sure that there will be four books or what extras might be included in the set. Here's the post: Good morning! To clear up some confusion: We're taking a modular approach to the rules sections and soaking...

Not sure being this explicit to the number of books and content of the boxed set is... entirely accurate, shall we say. :)
Rich, I think anyone reading the post would realize that I am speculating based on what has been stated so far and not being as specific as you imply (as if I even could).

Re: Moria

So being fairly new to RPGs, I am wondering what a Deluxe Box Set in general includes. Is it just a different enclosure for some books? Or does it include extras and if so, what kind could we expect to be in there? It depends upon the purpose of the set. A boxed set that serves as a basic introduct...

Re: Your personal wishlist for TOR books

I have an issue of remembering just how close or far apart places are in Middle-Earth, and I do not have a map handy... Well, the places I mentioned along with the Shire (the Tower Hills, Hills of Evendim) are all regions adjacent to it, and I would probably add Sarn Ford and the Old Forest. http:/...

Re: Your personal wishlist for TOR books

I have an issue of remembering just how close or far apart places are in Middle-Earth, and I do not have a map handy, so I went googling to refresh my memory and one of the results is someone on Etsy selling maps of Middle-Earth. I doubt they have the legal right to do that in the US, so is this so...

Re: Your personal wishlist for TOR books

Yeah, Tharbad was fully deserted and in ruins nearly 50 years before the time of The Hobbit. But I would love the area to get a Ruins of the North type of treatment with a series of adventures set there. And since the ruined bridge and the river ford were still used by the Nazgul, spies of Saruman,...
