Re: AiME PbP

Curious if you have room for another? I wouldn't mind giving it the old college try. I am in Okinawa, so more timezone wackiness. Haven't played anything in years, but i own the AiME books! A slight digression: Are you a serviceman? I ask because one of my sisters was stationed in Okinawa (twice!) ...

Re: The Forest Dragon

As one gets deeper into The Darkening of Mirkwood, eventually the PCs will likely encounter the Forest Dragon. My PCs probably will within the next couple of years, so I went ahead and made a conversion myself, even though I know we'll eventually get one from C7. I modeled some of the basics on a 5...

Re: A TOR Guide to The Shire

I've made a few more revisions, some of which give some background dates in King Elessar's New Reckoning. I've also added a little information concerning the Shire's neighbors and the roads.

Re: The Forest Dragon

I was considering a wingless Dragon like some of the ones of old for a campaign I am working on. Maybe a dragon with a den beneath the Mirkwood Mountains or perhaps beneath the expanse of Dol Guldur. I have to say good job on your dragon creation! The Forest Dragon is indeed described in TOR as "a ...

Re: Anna Wintermoss

My mental image of Anna is of a woman who is relatively young, not yet middle-aged or on the low side of it at most, though that might be my own bias. I suspect that her age was deliberately left vague so that a Loremaster could tailor it to the needs of his or her game.

Re: First Supplement Purchase/Upcoming Revision Questions

If all you require is a set of ready-to-play adventures set in Rhovanion that form a rough campaign then Tales from Wilderland is what you want right now. If you want a region guide for Wilderland that provides plenty of characters and adventure seeds for creating your own adventures then you need T...

Re: Converting High Elves of Rivendell

High Elves (by the narrowest definition) have dwelt in Aman and seen the light of the Two Trees. That gives them a spiritual component that is unmatched among other Elves or any other race of Middle-earth. In TOR they are presented as an Advanced Culture and have significant advantages over even the...
