So would you then rule its 10 uses of these default herbs from his herbalism kit?
Yes, on the assumption that the supply mainly consists of herbs that are chosen for the general treatment of injuries, fevers, etc.

Re: Finding and using Herbs

Another question on Hands of a Healer for Scholars. The second part reads as such "If instead you tend the creature for at least 10 minutes, binding their wounds, treating them with herbs and poultices, and offering soothing words, then you may multiply the 1d8 by your proficiency modifier. Then ad...

Re: The Laughter of Dragons - Erebor Adventure Book?

The Elves of the Grey Havens, plus the Corsairs of Umbar and the Gondorian Sailors will all come together as factions in a boardgame of Naval Battles. Expect Sea-serpents (a.k.a. Fish-dragons) and Fastitocalons as Hazards. I wouldn't doubt this, but we still need ports to use for those sea-voyage r...

Re: TV series set in Middle Earth may be coming

As spotted by another poster (TheHutt) at TORn: Sharon Tal Yguado, Head of Event Series at Amazon, has tweeted two hints: Ask your echo “Which character is not affected by the power of the one ring?” #LordOfTheRings https://twitter.com/...s/930246506426261505 Ask your Echo “who is Aragorn?” #LordOfT...

Re: The Laughter of Dragons - Erebor Adventure Book?

I didn't say we were going to make a Ruins of the North 2. Keeping what I said in context, I'm saying that every area we've already visited could be re visited, even several times over, due to the weight of the material and the depth of setting. I even said "But we do want to get you lots of places...

Re: The Laughter of Dragons - Erebor Adventure Book?

I would like to see the lands west of Bree covered by a region guide We guessed that.... ;) Yeah, I know that I've been focused on that area for a while now. At some point I'll shift my attention elsewhere--perhaps to Dorwinion and the other regions surrounding the Sea of Rhûn. Might there be Dwarv...

Re: Maps of Moria

I second Gilrohir's post. Decipher's Moria box set is amazing. It is a tool kit to allow you to create your own Moria. It highlights all 7 levels and 7 deeps, gives an abstract system for calculating Orc numbers/strengths, has a handful of sample maps, and best of all, has over 14 map templates to ...

Re: TV series set in Middle Earth may be coming

For what it's worth, from TheOneRing.net: Tolkien Rights and the Amazon Television Deal – some insight . In a fascinating article, TORn staffer and author Kristin Thompson gives us some invaluable insight into some of the legal wranglings which may have led to this new The Lord of the Rings televisi...

Re: The Laughter of Dragons - Erebor Adventure Book?

But I also know we could make another "Ruins of the North" really easily, for example. There's just so much to work with. Heck, Darkening is super detailed, (and quite brilliant work by Gareth and Francesco) and I still think we could do another Mirkwood supplement if we chose to. As much as I'd li...
