Re: The Enemy Within Campaign Volume 1 - Shadows Over Bögenhafen

I have all these fond memories of my teenage WFRP campaigns, and it was only during the scanning of Death on the Reik that I realised half of the things I remember come directly from that scenario... I didn't remember running it at all. But I did. To me, Death on the Reik was the beating heart of T...

Re: The Enemy Within Campaign Volume 1 - Shadows Over Bögenhafen

My old, original TEW books were lost some years ago along half of my house. Most damage was repaired, but some books were nigh irreplaceable. I'm glad I can finally replace them!

Re: Oaths of the Riddermark - pre-order now!

It looks to me that the final battle might even be too much for a starting fellowship, doesn't it? It really sets the danger threshold very high! Read the Unlikely Allies box on Page 119 carefully. Basically - if the company hasn't made any allies, they are unlikely to all survive through Woes of W...

Re: Moria

(...) Furthermore boxed Sets tend to be more expensive than simple books and, if they are dual-stat, this means that at least some of the customers (me included) will be doubtful about buying a more expensive product with so many pages that one cannot use. It has been explained elsewhere* that they...

Re: Moria

New monsters. 'There are older and fouler things than Orcs in the deep places of the world.' Yes, yes indeed. I would like to know some of the things gnawing at the roots of the mountains. Odd corners of Moria seem a good place to encounter new beasties. I was thinking of this, too. We know the Bal...

Re: Moria

Very Exciting!! I hope that is the cover. Love that you are releasing it as a joint AiMe/TOR product. Hopefully, once AiMe catches up, all the products will be joint products. This is my hope too. Meanwhile.....on the TOR forum..... TOR grognard here, and I don't have any problem with dual-statted ...

Re: Your Bout of Madness episodes

Hi all! In the next session, a bout of madness is almost assured: the Beorning Slayer is already Miserable, and they are engaging Tyulqin in her lair. I got few episodes of BoM in these years, so I'm wondering if someone can tell me about their past experience, so to draw inspiration  Go f...

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

Good to hear that Cubicle 7 recognized that a simple update on Warhammer 2 rules is not the way to go in the year 2017/2018. Nonetheless i'm not sure if the d100 system is my cup of tea, but Cubicle 7 had already shown with The One Ring of what they are capable of in a very positive way. For the co...

Re: WFRP and D&D

I agree wholeheartedly with CapnZapp. I could add something to the list: do away with the calculation of the "degree of success". It's the "you made the roll by 30, your opponent by 28, so you win the opposed roll..." Please, use Pendragon's opposed rolls system . Pendragon showed the way more than ...

What about a witch-nose? (You'd perhaps (not) be amazed by the amount of hatemail I got for giving a Great Orc a witch-nose...)

Sometimes I yearn for a time with less mail, less social networks, and less customer entitlement
