The fall of the Kai Monastery

In the beginning of the game books (ie in Flight from the Dark MS 5050), The Kai Monastery Falls while 100% of all Kai in Sommerlund are there. The fall is a rapid thing, taking a number of hours, rather than months that one might expect during a siege. Given that the monastery has seen off attack b...

Re: Looking for a group to play LWAG

They are very much available for reading, the only problem being that the map links no-longer work, so you can't see the maps I made.

Re: Looking for a group to play LWAG

If you remember the book, loosing the seal lead you to a loop where you ended up in a cell and were strangled by other inmates before your captors realized who you were. I figured the two kai lords, who were the current PCs would have a better chance of surviving than one given that the cell would o...

Re: Looking for a group to play LWAG

I'm going to do a short scenario (about 1/3 the size of a book) of my own design to end this run, basically based around the recovery of the Seal of Hammerdal, which the PCs lost in Fire on the Water

Re: Looking for a group to play LWAG

No worries. in that case it would probably be best if you came in for the next scenario. The game is over here: https://www.myth-weavers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31705 That means you'll be coming in when everyone is level 10, so you can feel free to level yourself up and make yourself a thread for you...

Re: Looking for a group to play LWAG

Either of those options would work quiet well. In fact the PCs are currently interacting with Banedon (if you remember him, the Brother of the Crystal Star from the original books). Assuming it wouldn't ruffle anyone elses' feathers, you could play as him. I have made some slight changes to the text...

Re: Regeneration of willpower

The only addendum I'd make to that is that for non-kai lords, I'd replace the word meditate in the following sentence with something more thematic and similarly distracting"You can meditate for up to six 10-minute periods every day" Eg Prayer/Study/Eating/Punching stuff! This is not an official rule...

Re: Looking for a group to play LWAG

We're up in Manchester, so that's not workable, but I will let you know the next time we start recruiting for the PbP game. I will be doing a short level 10 game if you're interested, however, there won't be any space for new Kai Lords. I'm using the timeline from the original adventure books. So ex...

Re: Heroes of Magnamund duplicate equipment choices

Do you mean at character creation? Lone Wolf is a very rules light which often favors rulings over rules. So the simple answer is ask your GM/narrator. Personally I wouldn't have a problem with it.
