Re: Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition – System Preview

A wishlist is fine reading - but the game will be as C7 has written it.
For my part I will wait for the PDF and then form my opinion. For now I will not read the forum. Too many bad vibes that try to corrupt me ;)

Re: Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition – System Preview

As it's the d100 system what does a gamer think that the 4th Edition will change? Now you have three possibilities instead of one. And possibility number 3. sounds to me like a fail forward mechanism. But I can be mistaken ;)

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

The d100 system used will be broadly familiar, but a new implementation designed to offer three ways of resolving actions: 1 – a decision based on the characters’ abilities 2 – a simple pass/fail test 3 – a more nuanced dramatic test giving a range of outcomes and success levels Oh how I want to kn...

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

Dom did also talk about our ambitious plans for expansions. An expeditionary approach to Lustria was mentioned, as was his excitement about Dark Elf politics and how he always wanted to go to Ulthuan. Hopefully these will be in the far future. I would like to see supplements for the Empire, Tilea, ...

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

The combat system has been designed to be quick, dynamic and exciting, with something happening as the result of every roll. Ah, I really like this! As a GM I love 13th Age cause every roll can be interesting for me - not only: „16, I hit you...“ Dragon Age was also a system that was interesting bu...

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

This rumour is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! As it is a licensed game GW has to give it's okay. And 4th Edition is produced and will be delivered - so I strongly assume that GW has given their ok. And why should they revoke the license? In a normal and realistic world no company will ta...

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

I hope that TEW Developer‘s Cut will allow me to play the campaign again - new twists and surprises for old time players ;) And I hope that there will be some adventures and campaigns in the near future so there will be an ongoing interest in 4th Edition. But personally I would like to see more supp...

Re: WFRP Pre-Order Open

You could use The Thousand Thrones. My group and I play monthly and we played three years. I had my eyes on it, but was not able to read it yet. Is it good? First things first: It’s not TEW! But I found the story behind the campaign very exciting (Sigmar Reborn) and there is a chance - right at the...
