Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

C7... guys... We get a weeks worth of discussion from a couple of comments and a new picture, but the announcement we are hoping for has yet to come! Any details you can share? Anything at all? Contents of starter set? Confirmation of books at Origins and Gen Con? A picture or two of some book cont...

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

i agree the cover was.....lacking, to be polite about matters. but at least their heart is in the right place with it. I'm sorry to say I concur. I appreciate the nod to the 1st edition but something is amiss... it just doesn't scream 'grim dark' to me for some reason. At least the cover for the co...

Re: Warhammer Fourth Edition News

At this point, I'll take any news, even bad (i.e. delayed, or worst, cancelled). My challenge, which I recognize is very self-serving, is that I am holding the launch of my TEW campaign until 4th edition releases. As stated in an earlier post, I am simply salivating at the thought of having two mass...

Re: Cubicle 7 and Games Workshop announce new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I am so ready to put my order through; I've been checking the online store for the last few days, hoping to see an option for pre-orders!

My only worry is us yanks will have to wait a little longer for the books to arrive, unless there is also an arrangement to have those printed in the US.

Nice artwork and very much looking forward to the releases of two 400-page tomes: one for the core rules and one for the enhanced enemy within campaign. Who's with me?... ;)

Re: The One Ring online Character Generator and Sheet, updat

Azrapse, I would like to extend a heart-felt 'THANK YOU' for your outstanding work. I have used this tool on numerous occasions and I know all of my six players use it as well (to include uploading their characters to our PbP forum; the export function works very well!). There is no greater resource...

Re: Help me out to figure if One Ring is a game for us

When I read the One Ring books I feel there's A LOT of potential in this game. But is it really so? Help. I felt the same way when I first got my hands on my box-set! The production value for this game is outstanding, without a doubt. But after LM-ing since last May, I am definitely seeing cracks i...

Re: Help me out to figure if One Ring is a game for us

How is the combat system in TOR any "thinner' then any other RPG (not associated with an existing wargame) out there? I haven't played D&D in a long while but I assume the combat rules are much more 'crunchy' (more rules / more options), hence the comment. I think TOR's stance system is interesting...
