Re: This forum has been instrumental in my being able play TOR...

I used to play in a lot of these kind of RPG forums back in the day when forums were the most popular thing on the internet. But they were mostly free form kind of things. I would really like to see how do you guys play TOR as PBP. Is there a link or archive where I can read such games?

Re: Fate of Goblin slaves - a moral dilemma

Goblin slaves would immediately attack the heroes when they got them in their sight. There is no moral dilemma here. It is not Forgotten Realms it is Middle Earth.

Re: What do you expect or want in a Gondor source book?

Apart from Men of Minas Tirith, variants for Rangers of Ithilien, Knights of Dol Amroth and men from places like Pelargir would be great. It would make it more fun to run an all Gondorian campaign.

Re: Out now in PDF: Adventures in Middle-earth: Eaves of Mirkwood and LM's Screen

Yes it does. Since my players were only 2 it felt right to award them all the bonus experience points for saving the village and defeating the beast just 2 of them alone. All in all it was a great adventure! I am planning to run a game for a group of people who have never played a tabletop RPG (or v...

Re: Out now in PDF: Adventures in Middle-earth: Eaves of Mirkwood and LM's Screen

I have run the Eaves of Mirkwood yesterday for my usual TOR group. We wanted to try the AiME system out. The story was just superb. Me and my players enjoyed it greatly. Especially the social parts with the Dwarves were the highlight of the session and the Greymuzzle Hob was a formidable and intimid...

Rating the Published Adventures [Possible Spoilers]

Now that we have quite a number of published adventures in our hands I think it could be an useful and fun exercise to rate and review some of our favorites among them and tell others why we like them as we do. I think stories from the Darkening of Mirkwood (the greatest TOR product in my opinion) c...
