Re: Bree is available in PDF

Bree looks lovely. I agree that we Americans (can't speak for Aus or SA), tend not to know the roots... partly because we have a very different set of landscape terms in common use here. Sure America has woods and forests, but we don't commonly use words like "copse", "hedgerow", etc. The same holds...

Re: Courtship, Childbirth and Burh & Treasure pdfs

Nice. One possible modification to childbirth: young (human) mothers will actually have worse outcomes than moms in their prime--so I'd say 16-19 would be a -1 not a +1, and you could shift the bonus to the years 20-30.

He's not missing Bag End, it's right there in the middle of the first picture.

Re: Lamp of the Wood-Elves

Yep, I've been making it so that it increase the Eye Awareness each time our Elf uses it, which - due to the high status of many members of our party - is already insanely high! (enough that often a single Eye of Sauron or use of Wood Elf Magic causes a Revelation Episode!) So does your player use ...

Re: [Tale of Years] The Fellowship of the Free (Spoilers)

These are amazing Rich, the maps are particularly interesting. Thank you so much for writing this all up, I can't wait to read more! I'd be interested to hear how your players (and their PCs), handle the dark tone of the campaign. I think you said they were bummed out about some of the dark outcomes...

Well I can't wait to see what happens next, these summaries of your gameplay are a real boon to those of us who want to develop our own LM muscles--so thank you for posting them.

Re: Adventure Summaries (Spoilers)

Whoa, you weren't kidding about a creepy episode! It's very cool how many of your PCs have made it so long (both in real and game time).

Re: Game Trade Media - Making characters for The One Ring

I just watched this--thanks for posting, it was fun and I hadn't seen these guys before. If I'd watched it live I would have voted for Hobbit, but Beorning and Mirkwood Elf were fun too.

Re: Making It Personal (LM Help)

Following on stormcrow's post above, if you aren't sure your players are ready to leap into producing hooks you could tie it to their callings, giving them a place to start. "Okay, you're a treasure hunter... but Why, and What Sort?" etc. Or if you want to surprise them you could base some guesses f...

Re: Bree

I'd like The Shire supplement to include an Appendix with simple rules to play TOR with kids (5 to 10 years old), along with a few example adventures: "The Ghost of Scary" "Post Office: A package for Mr. Baggins" "Climb the White Towers. See the Blue Sea" "The Frogmorton Prince" "Metal Gear Solid: ...
